My first post

What should I write about?

I'm not sure what I'm going to write about or how Substack is different from Medium and WordPress. I tried my hand there, too. I stopped posting in Medium and WordPress, I still continue to post my art, book reviews and poems in. But the level of engagement is low there. One would say (if you know me on WordPress), that I'm not very active in reading and commenting on other bloggers post. And WordPress is all about engagement. It's not that I don't wish to engage but between reading books, art, poetry and life itself which has involved a lot of moving around, it leaves me little time to read blogs. I moved to a new country, three months ago, and I've been on my toes - setting up home and socialising even though, I'm not very good at the latter. In fact, it's because I don't enjoy it too much, I need double the time that most people (extrovert) would need to recover from it. Now, with everybody travelling on holiday or planning their travel, I have finally got some respite, that I'm extremely grateful for.

Now that I’m done explaining, I'm wondering what my Substack should be about. Should I just share my art journey here, my travelogues, book reviews, poetry or about my life in general? What would you like to read? What would make you want to come back for more? What works? I'd like to know because I don't want to waste your time or mine and make it just another Substack account that dies in its infancy. Any guidance is more than welcome.
